Meal Replacements

For cost of the 5&1 plan is typically around $300 per month for 5 meal replacements per day. The 5&1 Plan is the most popular plan and creates the quickest weight loss. On this plan, you eat 5 meal replacements per day and 1 lean/green meal consisting of lean protein and vegetable. On this plan, you will need 20 boxes of food each months. Many people choose the Variety pack the first month. This allows them to taste a variety of the foods – the following month they can then re-order their favorites or try new products. If you do not want the Variety pack, then choose 20 boxes individually. Think of how you would want to plan most days. Do you like variety or do you see yourself eating mostly shakes and bars? Here are two examples of days:
Example 1
Breakfast: Oatmeal
Mid-morning: Shake
Lunch: Soup
Mid-afternoon: Bar or pretzels
Dinner: Lean/Green
Evening: Hot cocoa
Example 2
Breakfast: Shake
Mid-morning: Bar
Lunch: Lean/Green
Mid-afternoon: Bar or pretzels
Dinner: Shake
Evening: Hot cocoa
As you can see, it really doesn’t matter how you choose to eat the meals. It truly is based on your personality and tastes. Some people like variety so in example 1, they would want to purchase 4 boxes of shakes, 4 boxes of bars, 4 boxes of soups, 4 boxes hot cocoa and 4 boxes of oatmeal. they could also substitute, for example, one of the boxes of oatmeal for eggs – just to add additional variety. Again, it is up to the individual.
Many of my clients simply want shakes and bars. Remember, the hot drinks can also be served cold. Chia Latte and Cappachino are great cold. And don’t forget…..there are new pretzels and puff for crunchy/salty lovers. These are considered a meal. (Please note that the soy chips and crackers are snacks and cannot be counted as a meal).
